After securing promotion last season the Ladies 1st XI began the 2019/20 season in the Central Division for the first time in the clubs history. The aim for the season was to establish themselves in the new division and look to build on last season's success. North recruited well over the summer and spirits were high going into the first game, which they comfortably won 5-2 away at Bridgewater. On their day North showed they are capable of competing with everyone in the division, a particular highlight being the 5-1 home victory over Taunton Civil Service. Unfortunately a lack of consistency prevented them from challenging at the top end of the division. North finished in a respectable 6th position, with a record of 7 wins and 1 draw from their 16 matches. Having achieved their initial goal North will be looking to push on again next season and hope to be competing for another promotion.
