Above is the link to the latest England Hockey update re Back to Hockey and Covid protocols.

Key points for all to note please:

The club has to supply Track and Trace information on players attending any organised hockey session.

So players or parents need to register to attend any session in advance - cut off being 24 hours before start of the session.

One of the coaches will then take the attendance register so the Club Covid Officer (Clive) can submit a weekly return.

Spectators are allowed on public grounds, we have yet to clarify with Gordano if that applies to them, I suspect not, so it is currently better to work on theory of no spectators for adult sessions OTHER than parents of players aged under 18.

One parent per player can attend Junior Sunday sessions,w e recommend that face masks are worn if watching in the pitch side shelter and social distancing maintained.

At present there is no travel in a shared vehicle unless in the same household - this may have an implication for Summer league games dependent on when the fixtures actually are, and any relaxations in procedures by the time they start.

Lets enjoy getting back to playing - but stay safe!
