A club committee meeting was held on Monday night, the main aim to check where we are as the season starts. A lot of internal admin being done, 6 key points for everyone to be aware of:

1. All players make it easy for captains. Please update availability for Saturday games on Pitchero and via Team Chats where those are used.
2. Post match venue - The Poacher is under new management and no longer offer food. We shall be moving up the High Street to The Old Mill, being managed by Amy who ran The Poacher last season.
3. We want to check how many First Aiders we have in our ranks. Please let your captains know if you have a First Aid qualification via work.
4. Information will be circulated about how to get into umpiring. Club pays £15 a game so help the club and earn some cash. The club could do with more umpires.
5. The Junior section could do with some more volunteers to help coach, Sunday mornings 9.30 -10.30 or 10-30 to 11.30. Contact Joe Merrett or any team captain if you could help out regularly or occasionally.
6. Date for your diaries - Saturday 25th April 2026 will be Club Awards event, similar format to last year, Junior section first then senior section later in evening
