Yesterday was a very emotional day for North Somerset HC at the funeral of Colin Ainsworth. The large number of club members, young and old, female and male, representatives and former club members who attended was a fitting testament to our appreciation for all Colin did for the club.

The eulogies described what an impressive person Colin was, with tributes from his family and Avon & Somerset Constabulary, and thanks to Clive for an amazing tribute on behalf of the club and the wider hockey family.

The committee are working on a lasting tribute to Colin which we will confirm later in the season.
