Men's 2s were the last game on and knew beforehand that Bristol Uni C would be a challenge, they are always a young side with lots of energy and well drilled. So it proved with our defence put under pressure early on and Bristol Uni managing to find a way through after 10 minutes Bristol Uni played well and kept good control of the ball allowing them to score again five minutes later. We seemed to understand what they were doing and adjusted our formation to try to load up the midfield to improve our ability to battle with their possession play. The change stopped their march and allowed us more opportunities to go forward, eventually rewarded with a goal Adam Howard from a short corner. Half time was a welcome break to the pace of the game in the October sun and a rethink on the formation to control the game more. The second half was more even with Rob O'Neill making some fine saves, but also some attacking moves for us. The only real action in the half being another goal for Britsol Uni to earn them a 3-1 win.
