Firebrands thrashed

North Somerset went down to Firebrands home pitch at a late start for the last game of the season. North went down to play the team at the bottom of the division looking for a win to end the season on a high. North start the game off with their normal formation but with two changes, Alex Milne joined Tom Appleford in midfield as Toby Cox was unavailable, Sam Down joined the back four as Alex was moved into midfield.
As the game began North immediately pressed high and started to attack Firebrands defence and 5 mins Into the game North scored an easy goal with Tom Broome providing the assist and Harry Croker scoring the tap in. After 10 minutes in to the game North scored another goal making it 2:0 to the away team. North ended the half with a 4:0 lead.
After a motivating team talk the team went on a goal hunt.
North started the second half with their heads high and they again attacked the Firebrands defence and tried to exploit their weaknesses. After a constant attack North finally converted another goal. Making their lead 5:0.
However Firebrands where not going to give up and on a short corner they scored from the top of the D. North started again with their attack and after 10 minutes they scored two more goals. Increasing their lead to 6 goals. Firebrands couldn’t seem to stop Harry Croker as he scored 6 goals by the end of the game. North finished the season on a high with a 9-1 win over bottom of the table and secured their place in the league. Man of the match was Harry Croker.
