At Mendip A

At the same time as the Men's 1s, the 3s went to Mendip with some positivity from last weeks win. However they started slowly and were caught out early on by two quick goals from Mendip. 2-0 and with a bit of a shock the players got themselves together and calmed things down, moving the ball around well and making opportunties. Jack Colling and Dan Dudley on the wings causing lots of problems for Mendip. We seemed to run the legs out of Mendip and through the rest of the game managed to get 5 goals, two from Steve Puttergill, two from Rich Cormac and captain Phil Toomey took an age to take his shot rather than pass, but thankfully buried it past the keeper. A 5-2 win makes quite a happy result for the 3s to build on.
