Mens 3rd XI match report

North Somerset 3’s played Somerset Gryphons, who had 2 wins and draw against the top 3 teams, in the last 3 games. The first half was dominated by Gryphons and they eventually scored through a very well worked short corner. North defended very well, through GK Rob Orton and Graham Feboul to keep the score to one nil but weren’t offering much up front. The second half improved a bit for North but Gryphons scored again through another short corner. Late in the game, a pass from Phil Toomey got through to Keith Lanham, who scored low in the corner, from their first shot on target. North tried to find equaliser but Gryphons managed the game well and won 2-1. Man of the was Rob Orton.
