Draw in last game of season

NSHC 3rd team, needed to beat Bristol and West by 9 clear goals to avoid relegation from West central 2. For the first 10 minutes North applied lots of pressure, resulting in a penalty flick being awarded, captain Phil Toomey scoring from the spot. Then Bristol and West came straight back into the game, creating chances and scored 2 quick goals, to go up 2-1. Late in the first half a pass from Phil Toomey found Jack Colling, whose shot found the corner of the goal. In the second half, Bristol and West had the better of the chances but Pete Mansell and Rob Orton held firm in defence, to keep the score at 2-2. Despite relegation, Captain Phil Toomey would like to thank all the players for their commitment and effort, for a fun season. Man of the match Pete Mansell
