North Somerset Ladies v Cheddar Score 9-0 A very windy Saturday afternoon saw North needing to be on their A game against 4th placed Cheddar to continue their current scoring success and stay in with a chance of promotion. North started strongly but were kept out by a resilient Cheddar defence, but the deadlock was broken midway through the first half with a scrambled goal from Harrold, followed quickly with a well taken short corner routine, converted by Becky Ford-Urch. North now finding their feet managed to get to half time 4-0 up with Harrold and Dane adding to the tally. Cheddar were attacking throughout but were left disappointed by Graham, Chambers and Dane who remained a force in defence, Keeper Gabby holding her own with some well timed saves. The second half North pushed hard, some sublime play from Lara Ford-Urch finally gave her the goal she deserved. A shocked Smith followed this up with a deflected shot into the bottom corner. North dominated throughout and Becky Ford-Urch added to her tally with a well timed smash. Jozefowicz and Harrison worked tirelessly down the left Harrison having a goal disallowed. Harrold added a further brace with immense passes from Millington and Willcox to see off Cheddar and put 3 points in the bag. Captain Hooper was voted player of the match for her brilliance in the middle. Next week North play Keynsham at 11:00am
