U12s perform well at Yate

Report from team manager Jason:

Great hockey, played by all. Lots of passing, looking up, excellent team work and using the full width of the pitch.

Reuben gave us an early lead to the first match setting the tone of determination for the U12’s for the day, shortly followed by a second. Our defenders worked hard to keep the opponent out of our D. City of Bath slid one in by the keeper but in the end it was a 2-1 win for NSHC.

Firebrands (A) was the next match. Josh taking us into a early lead followed shortly after by Alfie and then Josh’s second for the match. Firebrands slipped one past the keeper in the end with final result 3-1 win to NSHC!

3rd match was against Clifton Ronbinsons B team. The sun went in and rain started, and whilst that brought on our normal Training session weather it unfortunately wasn’t to be. Good team work, great passing, amazing effort from all working really hard together as a team but Clifton Robinsons crept ahead. Final result was 3-0 win to Clifton.

Final Match was with City of Bath C (their A team playing again due to no C team) Cracking start pushing forward, great passing giving Harry his first goal of the festival, taking us into an early lead. Lots of good passing, great defending but with a determined opponent they finally scored the equaliser. Final result was a 1-1 draw.

U12 Team - Molly, Neve, Nathan, Megan, Alice, Joshua, Alfie, Reuben, Harry and Tom.

Well done all, a great result for a great team!
